Paine set his camera up some distance away to get the oak tree branches laden with spanish moss in the shot. Handwritten on reverse reads, "Dixie, Country Home of Geo. W. Williams, Chas. S.C. 4/5 - [19]19."
This house burned in 1939 and the property is currently owned by the College of Charleston.
