Description:
Watercolor on paper illustrating the stem, leaves and cherries of a coffee (genus Coffea) tree. Taylor painted this illustration during one of her expeditions with William Beebe in British Guiana (now Guyana). She used gouache to create the opaque, pale colors on the fruit.
