Description:
One of two pigeon guillemot (Cepphus columba columba) eggs (CBE8883 - CBE8884) collected from Farallone Island off the coast of California. Porter noted that the incubation of the eggs had begun prior to collection and that they had been "laid on the ground under a large stone." The eggs were later acquired by Ernest Tabor.
