Description:
Watercolor on paper illustrating two mushrooms. Jervey noted along the bottom, "Coprinus comatus. Edible" and wrote on reverse, "The Coprinus comatus is sold in the markets in Washington D.C. & many people can, it should be gathered & cooked when it is pure white. If you put one in a saucer instead of a mushroom you, will have ink the next day."
