Sepia photograph of three parked buses in front of the Francis Marion Hotel (387 King Street) on the Calhoun Street side. This appears to have been a stop during the bus parade celebrating the new bus line and the retirement of the streetcars. Paine shot the image from an elevated position across the street in the Enston Building (381 King Street) and noted the date and time along with his camera settings on reverse, "New S.C.P.C.
