Description:

One of ten Eurasian green-winged teal eggs (see CBE2392 - CBE2401) collected from Laxardal, North Iceland, when their incubation had just begun and identified when the bird was flushed. Per Palsson's slip, the nest "was placed under a thick shrub on a hill side, and was well concealed. It was lined with dead grass and leaves, also some down."
