Sepia photograph of an outcropping of auriferous quartz (gold bearing metal) near the research station (Kalacoon House) on the Hills Estate Rubber Plantation. Taylor noted on reverse, "Kiaturlet."
Beebe published this image (Fig. 12) in the "Tropical Wild Life in British Guiana: Zoological Contributions From the Tropical Research Station of the New York Zoological Society" with the caption of "Outcropping of Auriferous Quartz Near Kalacoon."
