The Charleston Museum and our historic houses are open on New Year’s Day.  

The Charleston Museum: Monday through Saturday 9 am to 5 pm, Sunday 12 to 5 pm

Heyward-Washington House: Monday through Saturday 10 am to 5 pm, Sunday 12 to 5 pm (last tour begins at 4:30 pm)

Joseph Manigault House: Monday through Saturday 10 am to 5 pm, Sunday 12 to 5 pm (last tour begins at 4:30 pm)

EFFECTIVE February 7, 2022:  Per CDC recommendations, masks are encouraged if you have not been fully vaccinated. We appreciate your cooperation in helping to prevent the spread of Covid-19.
