This Veteran’s Day weekend, experience the Joseph Manigault House as it was while it served as a USO post during World War II. The house became a place for enlisted soldiers and the home front workforce to sleep, enjoy meals, write home to their families, attend dances, and play games. Visitors are welcome to dance to 1940s music or play horseshoes and badminton in the garden. Children are invited to start their own victory garden and learn about rationing.
Registration encouraged. FREE for Members and FREE with admission to The Charleston Museum.
