Join Chief of Collections, Jennifer McCormick, and Curator of History, Chad Stewart, for an exclusive tour of the furniture collection within the Heyward-Washington House. Go behind the ropes for a closer look at these significant English and Charleston-made pieces to learn about their various styles, construction, materials and makers. Hear about cabinetmakers, Thomas Elfe, Robert Walker, Martin Pfeninger and the enslaved craftsmen who created these incredible furnishings.

Reservations required. EFFECTIVE MAY 3, 2022:  The Museum follows CDC guidelines with respect to mask wearing.  Charleston County’s Covid-19 community level is currently listed as low.  Masks are not required while visiting Museum sites.
