Children's Hands on History Workshop: Native American Jewelry

Join Native American artist Susan Hatcher as she instructs children on how to create jewelry using the traditional materials and methods of her Waccamaw Indian ancestors.  Children will make medicine pouches, dreamcatchers, and necklaces and learn about the Native American culture of the area.

This Program is for children ages 8 and up, adults can pay child rate if they would like to participate. This event is funded in part by the South Carolina Arts Commission which receives support from the National Endowment for the Arts.
