Sepia photograph of Anna Heyward Taylor wearing her American Red Cross uniform and overcoat. Taylor first prepared surgical bandages before transferring to canteen duty, serving in both France and occupied Germany. Notation on reverse, "Anna H. Taylor in costume for Surgical Dressings Unit in Paris. Oct 1917. c/o National d'Escompte de Paris 14 Rue Bergere."
