Description:
Storage jar created by enslaved potter David Drake (Dave the Potter), designed with four crock handles circumventing the top section directly below the rolled rim. Drake finished the jar with a green-tinted alkaline glaze inside and out. The date is found below one handle with a half-arc or semicircle marked below the other handle. It is currently on exhibit in the Museum's First Hall.
