Description:

Watercolor and gouache painting on paper of the stems, leaves, flowers and yellow fruit of a Shooting Star (Hoya multiflora) plant painted during Taylor's second expedition with William Beebe in British Guiana (now Guyana). She used gouache to create the opaque, pale colors on the flowers and fruit.
