Page 11 - Santee Gun Club

Photograph of two men conversing with one another at the Santee Gun Club (formerly Blake's Plantation) taken during the 18th annual meeting of the American Association of Museums. The man on the left is Paul Rea, then Director of the Cleveland Museum of Natural History (1920-1928) and former Director of The Charleston Museum (1906-1920).

The conference coincided with the 150th Anniversary of the founding of The Charleston Museum and then Director, Laura Bragg arranged for tours of various sights and plantations around the Lowcountry for the AAM members and their spouses.
