Color photograph of three men excavating the foundation ruins of the Old House Plantation site. Two are shoveling dirt into a wheelbarrow. Museum archaeologist, John Miller, led the excavation on the site during the years of 1965 and 1966 at the request of the property owner, Harry B. Cooler, Sr. through Pauline Webel, a local historical advocate.
