It appears the photographer took the image before everyone was ready, as some people are looking off in another direction. Standing (left to right) are curator, G. Robert Lunz, director, E. Milby Burton, and curator, E. Burnham Chamberlain. Seated (left to right) are former curators of education, Elizabeth Simons and Louise (Smith) Barrington, secretary to the director, Emma Richardson, and Frances Smythe. Frances (Smythe) Edmunds had just been hired to handle the publicity for the Museum.
