Description:

One of two California gull eggs collected from the Farmington Bird Refuge in Salt Lake City (CBE1903 - CBE1904). The incubation of the eggs had begun a week prior to collection and they were identified by a small nesting colony. The nest is described by Stevens as being composed as "a slight depression in dead grasses brought in by bird. Placed between clumps of green grasses." They were later acquired by Ernest Cutts.
