Description:
A common, or Atlantic puffin (Fratercula arctica) egg collected from Gannet Island, Labrador, Canada. Collector, Walter Raine received the egg from a fisherman and noted, "egg laid at end of a burrow, 3 feet in." Later acquired by Alexander Sprunt.
