Description:
Black and white photograph of Franklin Frost Sams with his two children, Frances and Donald, as they test out the sand and surf on the beach at Isle of Palms. Handwritten on reverse reads, "32. F.F.S. [Franklin Frost Sams] , F. [Frances] & D. [Donald] at Isle of Palms". Photograph is thought to have been taken by Lizzie Sams, wife and mother of the subjects. Printed from a glass plate negative held in the Museum's collection.
