Photograph of a line of trucks parked on Rutledge Avenue in front of the old Charleston Museum. Lunz noted on reverse, "Farm women at Museum July 6, 1933."
According to the "Charleston News and Courier" 443 women from farms in the Lowcountry came to Charleston "to forget their domestic and family duties for three days of well earned recreation in an emcampment at the Citadel." Part of their activities were visiting the Museum to hear a lecture and view the exhibits.
