Oil on canvas full length portrait of Christopher Gadsden, standing, wearing a blue coat over a white satin waistcoat. Theus depicted his subject mostly bald with a ponytail tied in a ribbon. He holds a cane in his right hand and a tri-cornered hat is tucked under the left arm. Currently on display in the Heyward-Washington House.
