Black and white photograph showing Mrs. Ethel Holbrook Moak receiving a bouquet of flowers from Miss Mildred Audrey Byrd. Mrs. Moak was a wife as one of the Shipfitter's Shop crew that built the ship and was chosen as the sponsor of ship LSM 298.

Moak, left, sponsor of the LSM 298 which was launched here this morning, is shown as she received a bouquet of flowers from Miss Mildred Audrey Byrd, an employee of the yard Shipfitter Shop, who presented the flowers on behalf of the yard employees.
