Description:
Black and white photograph looking west on Broad Street from East Bay toward St. Michael's Episcopal Church. To capture the street scene of trolleys and horse-drawn carriages, the photographer was positioned directly in front of the Old U.S. Post Office (now Old Exchange and Provost Dungeon, 122 East Bay). The building visible to the immediate right is "Henry Plenge, Druggist" (8 Broad) with the Lesemann Insurance & Real Estate Agent directly across the street (7 Broad).
