Description:
One bottle seal of dark green glass featuring "G.A. Hall 1768" on a fragment of the bottle. George Abbott Hall was married to Lois Matthewes Hall, sister of Thomas Heyward Jr.'s first wife, Elizabeth Matthewes Heyward. Mrs. Hall and Mrs. Heyward were in residence during the 1780-1782 occupation of Charleston.
