Photograph of the rooftops in Charleston between the St. Philip's Church steeple and the Peoples Building (18 Broad Street). Jacobs shot the view from the top of St. Michael's Steeple looking northeast toward the Cooper River with Broad Street clearly visible on the right side and Washington Square Park in the foreground. Note the Cooper River Bridge in the far distance. The caption at the bottom reads, "Looking northeast from St. Michael's Steeple, 1939."
