Description:
One of eight northern pintail eggs that were collected 9 miles (14.48 km) east and 1 mile (1.61 km) north of Didsbury, Mountain View County (see CBE2476 - CBE2483). Incubation was fresh and their identification was confirmed when the bird was flushed. The nest was made "of dry grass and leaves, on road allowance, hid in small willow bush," (Hamm Slip).
