Alca torda, Razorbill egg
Description:
A single razorbill (Alca torda) egg collected from the coast of Labrador in June 1896 by E.B. Webb. Webb described the nesting site as, "single egg laid on ledge of rock over the sea." This egg had been freshly laid at the time of collection and was eventually acquired by Alexander Sprunt, Jr for his collection.
