Alca torda, Auk egg
Description:
A razorbill (Alca torda torda) egg collected from Yellow Ledge at the Bay of Fundy in New Brunswick, Canada by A. C. Bent in June 1891. This egg had been freshly laid at the time of collection and Bent notes the "egg laid on bare rock in a crevice under loose rock." Later acquired by Arthur T. Wayne.
