Description:
One of five Cooper's hawk (Accipiter cooperii) eggs collected near Moselem, Pennsylvania (see CBE875 - CBE879). Incubation of the eggs was at an advanced stage when they were collected in May 1907. Gruber noted the nest was "45 feet from ground in chestnut tree, composed of sticks and lined with rough bark." The clutch was later acquired by Alexander Sprunt, Jr.
