Black and white photograph of the dense jungle. Howes shot the image from the Mazaruni River and focused on a giant Mora tree. Note the figure in the wooden boat at the base of the the tree. See also MK 6781.

Beebe published this image (Fig. 22) in "Tropical Wild Life in British Guiana: Zoological Contributions From the Tropical Research Station of the New York Zoological Society" with the caption, "Jungle From the Mazruni, Showing Height of Giant Moa."
