Ravenel family Chinese Export Porcelain Placemat
This gorgeous placemat is inspired by the largest extant collection of Chinese export porcelain from the Colonial period, circa 1760, in the Museum’s collection. This dinner service collection is embellished with hibiscus, passionflower and pomegranate decoration and was by the Ravenel family at their Wantoot Plantation in Berkeley County, SC.
