This Veteran’s Day weekend explore the wartime history of the Joseph Manigault House. During World War II, this site was used as a USO post and Red Cross training facility. Soldiers attended dinners, parties, played games, and wrote to their families while here in the 1940s. Explore special exhibits featuring clothing, artifacts, images, and letters about life in 1940s Charleston. Come play badminton and horseshoes in the garden and enjoy discussions focusing on this unique history. Special USO tours will be available at 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM each day during this time. All veterans and active military will be admitted FREE on November 11.
Regular admission to the Joseph Manigault House applies: FREE for Members and FREE with admission for Non-Members ($12/adults, $5/children, under 3 free).
