This Veteran’s Day, explore the history of the Joseph Manigault Historic House. During WWII, this site was used as a USO post and Red Cross training facility. While at the Joseph Manigault House, soldiers attended dinners, parties, played games, and wrote to their families during the 1940s.

On Sunday, November 11, the Joseph Manigault House will have a special celebration with self-guided tours, images and outfits from the time period on view throughout the house and Badminton and horseshoes will be set up in the garden.  Free for Museum members and Free with admission. ALL Veterans and active duty military will be admitted free on November 11th at all three sites.
