Teen Homeschool History Day: Robert Smalls
Sail into South Carolina history with the man who fled Charleston in a stolen boat in the middle of a war. Learn about the life and achievements of a South Carolina hero, Robert Smalls. Using what you learned about Robert Smalls, design a monument or memorial to honor his legacy. Students can use paper, clay, or other items available in the classroom to create their memorial. Teen Homeschool History Day is a brand-new program geared for students 13 to 17 and features a field trip experience, a chance to go through the Museum, and an educational activity.
