Teen Homeschool History Day: Preserving Charleston
History is all around you in Charleston thanks to the work and passion of several women. Learn all about architecture and the preservation movement in the 1920s that saved Charleston’s historic buildings—including the Heyward-Washington House and the Joseph Manigault House. Explore the Wraggeborough neighborhood on a scavenger hunt highlighting the historic buildings preserved right next to the Museum. Teen Homeschool History Day is geared for students 13 to 17 and features a field trip experience, a chance to go through the Museum, and an educational activity. Adults not required to stay.
