Sunset on the Stono: A Special Event at the Dill Sanctuary

Join the Charleston Museum on Thursday May 2nd at 6:00 pm for a new event at the Dill Sanctuary.  Enjoy an incredible view of the Stono River and watch the sun dip below the horizon while enjoying this 580-acre wildlife preserve. Guests are invited to join Chief Curator Jennifer McCormick for a guided tour of the earthen Confederate fortification, Battery Pringle before settling in to watch the sunset. Take advantage of this opportunity to enjoy the perfect date night, friends’ night out, or settle in after a day of work and take in this breathtaking view and wildlife property. Bring your picnics, coolers (this event is BYOB), chairs and blankets, and join us for this unique sunset experience.

Please note Sunset on the Stono is BYOB.  Guests are welcome to bring their own food and beverages. Refreshments not provided at this event.
