The Charleston Museum and our historic houses are open on New Year’s Day.  

The Charleston Museum: Monday through Saturday 9 am to 5 pm, Sunday 12 to 5 pm

Heyward-Washington House: Monday through Saturday 10 am to 5 pm, Sunday 12 to 5 pm (last tour begins at 4:30 pm)

Joseph Manigault House: Monday through Saturday 10 am to 5 pm, Sunday 12 to 5 pm (last tour begins at 4:30 pm)

EFFECTIVE JANUARY 10, 2022:  Due to the rising number of Covid-19 cases, masks must be worn while visiting The Charleston Museum and its historic houses.  Thank you for your cooperation and helping our community to prevent the spread of Covid-19.
