Hands on History Workshop: Tribal Life and Customs
Students will be immersed in the daily life of South Carolina’s first inhabitants by examining the daily activities of Native American men, women, and children. Learn their methods of survival by handling animal skins, pottery, arrowheads, and primitive tools.
Students will learn Native American techniques for transforming the natural world to fulfill their daily needs. Hands-on stations include flint knapping, pottery, and folktales.
