Exclusive Storeroom Tour: Accessories Through Time with Curator of Historic Textiles Virginia Theerman
Join Curator of Historic Textiles Virginia Theerman for an exclusive in depth tour of the Museum’s accessories collection, focusing on shoes, purses, and fans, among other items. Theerman will discuss the evolution of accessories in the 19th and 20th centuries, and how they create both a fashion statement and declaration of identity. Admission to The Charleston Museum is included with registration.
Registration is required and space is extremely limited. Participants must be able to climb stairs. Effective August 2, 2021: Per Charleston County requirement all persons must wear face coverings when in Charleston County indoor public spaces. Accordingly, masks must be worn while visiting The Charleston Museum and its historic houses. Thank you for your cooperation and for helping our community to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
