Educator Professional Development: Life in the Civil War

Examine the myriad of perspectives of those affected by the Civil War including Union and Confederate soldiers, women at war and on the home front, enslaved laborers in Charleston, and Black Union soldiers. Engage in STEM-infused Civil War stations focusing on medical practices and photography. This program is designed for and only open to educators and includes admission to the Charleston Museum.
Reservations are required. Please verify with your school district to receive 2.5 recertification credit hours.
