Educator Professional Development: Life in South Carolina: Natural Disasters and Mapping

Shake, rattle, and roll with the Charleston Museum as we explore hands-on approaches to natural disasters. Using earthquake tables and twister bottles, learn about the basics of natural disasters. See how natural disasters and maps combine on the Halsey Map and review the basics of mapping using modern maps as well as those from our collections. This program is designed for and only open to educators and includes admission to the Charleston Museum.
Reservations are required. Please verify with your school district to receive 2.5 recertification credit hours.
