Easter: Museum and historic houses CLOSED

The Charleston Museum and our historic houses are closed on Easter, so that staff may to enjoy the holiday with family and friends.  We resume regular hours on the Monday, April 18. 

The Charleston Museum: Monday through Saturday 9 am to 5 pm, Sunday 12 to 5 pm

Heyward-Washington House: Monday through Saturday 10 am to 5 pm, Sunday 12 to 5 pm (last tour begins at 4:30 pm)

Joseph Manigault House: Monday through Saturday 10 am to 5 pm, Sunday 12 to 5 pm (last tour begins at 4:30 pm)

EFFECTIVE MARCH 4, 2022:  The Museum follows CDC guidelines with respect to mask wearing.  Charleston County’s community level is currently listed as medium, which recommends masks for those immunocompromised or at high risk for severe illness.  Masks are not required while visiting Museum sites.
