On February 24, join Chief of Collections, Jennifer McCormick for an exclusive tour of the furniture collection within the Heyward-Washington House. Go behind the ropes for a closer look at these significant English and Charleston-made pieces to learn about their various styles, construction, materials and makers. Hear about cabinetmakers, Thomas Elfe, Robert Walker and Martin Pfeninger and the enslaved craftsmen who created these incredible furnishings.
