Become a Patriot for the day! Begin your adventure into Colonial life in the Great Hall of the Old Exchange. Here you will learn to dance the minuet and then travel to the dungeon to see where tea was hidden and patriots were imprisoned during the Revolution. Next, enlist in the Continental Army at the Powder Magazine. Learn military drills and make a musket cartridge. The journey continues to the Heyward–Washington House where you meet Hannah, an indentured servant. Hannah will tell you of her life as you explore the house and kitchen building while nibbling on colonial cooking. This special day camp is for ages 7 – 12 and includes a snack. $25 per child.
