Nature Trailer Summer Camp

The Dill Sanctuary

Get down and dirty exploring creatures of the marsh and tracking animals along the trail at the Charleston Museum's Dill Sanctuary, a 580-acre wildlife sanctuary located on James Island along the Stono River. Learn about archaeology, animals, life in a marsh, Native Americans and more. Crafts, activities, and snack included in the cost. Reservations are required.

Patriots Day Camp

June 14
9 a.m. - 12 p.m.
Old Exchange Building

Become a Patriot for the day! Begin your adventure into Colonial life in the Great Hall of the Old Exchange. Here you will learn to dance the minuet and then travel to the dungeon to see where tea was hidden and patriots were imprisoned during the Revolution. Next, enlist in the Continental Army at the Powder Magazine. Learn military drills and make a musket cartridge. The journey continues to the Heyward-Washington House where you meet Hannah, an indentured servant. Hannah will tell you of her life as you explore the house and kitchen building while nibbling on colonial cooking. This special day camp is for ages 8 - 12 and includes a snack. $22 per child. Magic Camp

Learn to amaze others with VanDoren's Mystifying and Mesmerizing Magic Camp. VanDoren teaches children the fundamentals of performing magic tricks. At the end of camp children will perform a magic show for friends and family. This camp is more that magic, children will use hand eye coordination and improve their self esteem through public speaking and group interaction. Ages 7-12. Learn more...

Charleston Museum Camp

Travel back in time to learn about creatures, customs, and cultures throughout history. Explore the collections of the Charleston Museum to learn about Ancient Egypt, dinosaurs, pirates, and more. Price includes crafts, activities, admission, and a snack. Reservations required.
