Description:
Black and white photograph of Adger's North Wharf (now North Adgers Wharf) in the morning. The photographer captured the image from the water to show street vendors (or hucksters) waiting for produce-laden boats from John's Island and James Island to be unloaded. The boat "Gypsy" is loaded with watermelons. Handwritten notation on reverse, "Adger's Wharf."
