
Interested in learning more about Charleston history and being a part of the Museum team? The Charleston Museum is currently seeking part-time and volunteer historic house interpreters to give tours at two of the city’s premier historic houses, the Heyward-Washington House (c. 1772) and Joseph Manigault House (c. 1803)
Learn about Charleston’s history and the history of these National Historic Landmark houses while serving the local community and tourist audience. The Museum’s historic houses (The Joseph-Manigault House and Heyward Washington House) are open from 10:00-5:00, Monday-Saturday, and from 1:00-5:00 on Sunday.
Positions are available on a part-time employment or volunteer basis only.
Pay Rate: Minimum Wage
Note: The Museum cannot guarantee a minimum number of hours per week.
